-Tell us about your artistic proposal actually
Well, i want people to enjoy my art, crack a smile, hopefully to get inspired like i do when i see awesome art. I hope to be able to draw myself into the grave, i just want to be able to have the funds to continue doing what i love doing, plus a few other things, like discovering Atlantis.
- Bueno, quiero que la gente disfrute de mi arte, rompa una sonrisa, ojalá que se inspire como lo hago cuando veo un arte impresionante. Espero ser capaz de tirarme a la tumba, solo quiero poder tener los fondos para continuar haciendo lo que amo, además de algunas otras cosas, como descubrir Atlantis.
- Talk about your beginnings and inspirations. What initiatives and motivations you had?
- Beginnings and inspirations had a lot to do with comics and other awesome art that i happened upon. I remember my best bud in elementary school and i would collect garbage pail kids, then we would draw our own. Also Mad magazine was a big one, Don Martin, Sergio Aragonés and Al Jaffee i loved as a kid, still do! Sergio Aragonés comic Groo the Wanderer was big inspiration for my early art. As i got older i really got into Marvel stuff, then Todd McFarlane's Spawn i was really into through middle and high school. So many inspirations! i could go all day.
- En realidad fue un accidente cómo descubrí lo que amo hacer más. Conocí a la madre de mi hijo, ¡y ella quedó embarazada unas pocas semanas después de que nos conocimos! amo ser el papá más. ¿Hablando de arte? Supongo que siento que me encantó dibujar desde que era niño, recuerdo que en la escuela primaria ganando un concurso de arte, no estaba sobresaliendo en nada más, por lo que ver que mis padres estaban orgullosos de eso era bastante descarado.
- What you think that differentiates your art from everyone else?
- I think if you look at art you like, you will notice, even if its the same style, everyone has their own way of making art. It's like finger prints, everyone is born with something about them that makes their lines different. On a broader scope! i hope that my stuff comes across as a mixture of things that wouldn't normally wouldn't go together. like barbecue sauce on a PB n J. I would love it if you interviewed my bud Jodie Beechem (@jodiebeechem) her stuff rules!
- Creo que si miras el arte que te gusta, te darás cuenta, aunque sea del mismo estilo, cada uno tiene su propia forma de hacer arte. Es como huellas dactilares, todos nacen con algo sobre ellos que hace que sus líneas sean diferentes. En un alcance más amplio! Espero que mis cosas aparezcan como una mezcla de cosas que normalmente no irían juntas. como salsa de barbacoa en un PB n J.
